Upperview does a lot of night work for restaurants in order for the restaurants to stay open during business hours. This helps the restaurants stay open for business as usual instead of causing them to shut down and lose business.

At Bandera in Corona del Mar, we replaced all the wood and tile flooring. We ripped out all the old wood flooring and installed temporary black carpet in order to keep the restaurant open during their business hours. We installed end grain wood flooring, sanded and applied a custom finish. We also installed new granite tile to replace the old quartz floor tile. This whole project went smoothly and only took a few weeknights to complete.

Other night work we’ve done at Bandera includes building a custom Mahogany wood cabinet and low wall and removing and replacing interior handrails and limestone steps.

At Houston’s in Irvine, we’ve replaced the bar countertops and modified the cooksline countertop. We fabricated the bar countertop using cherry wood ahead of time so we could go in, demo the existing granite countertops and install the new one in 1 night, in order for the restaurant to be able to open for business the next day. We also modified the cut and modified the cooksline stainless steel countertop at the same time. We pride ourselves in keeping the restaurants clean and free of any debris, in order to avoid any extra cleaning for the restaurant to have to incur the next day. In addition to the countertops, we rewired the new food warmer units and installed new conduit and plugs for the new bar.

At Gulfstream in Newport Beach, we replaced the marble that lines the entire back wall of the open kitchen. Included in this were the supports for the wall as well as moving the electrical as needed. This project involved a lot of prep work ahead of time, but only took 1 night to install and complete. We are going to soon do a full tenant improvement of the restaurant.

At Cafe R & D at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, we have consistently remodeled and maintained this restaurant for a few years now. Included in the work we’ve done at Café R   D is maintaining the exterior façade by refinishing the fountain and applying sealant on the exterior wood walls   columns as needed on a regular basis. On the interior, we’ve installed new custom made leather padded panels for the bar which entailed welding. We’ve also replaced all the wood panels in the restroom hallway and sanded, stained and sealed the wood. All this work is done after hours in order not to disturb business.

At Savannah in Costa Mesa (formerly Chat Noir), we have remodeled and updated parts of this high end restaurant. We fabricated 10 new solid wood accordion-style doors to separate the interior bar from the exterior canopied bar.

In addition, we constructed a custom wood music stage for the bar area. All this was done after hours in order to keep the restaurant open.
